Somer Stampley is a visual artist who lives and works in New York City. Her main focus is cutting paper to make colorful alien worlds full of feminine figures and whimsical flora. She has made stop motion animations with her paper cut-outs in which she has successfully made two music videos and a short film “Wild Flower”. In the past 7 years, she has showcased her work at galleries and art residencies in Oregon, New York, Toronto, São Paulo, Seoul, Bogotá, and Tokyo.
